Nursing Cover

Today I made a nursing cover for Cami who is my visitng teacher.

Be a cookie mom

Today I decided was the day that I was going to make the cookies. So taking Miriam Fransons idea I made three different kinds of cookies and then froze them in individual cookies. Thanks to Jan for letting me use her Kitchen Aid Mixer it was so much easier whipping out cookies.

YEA!!

I finished Zoey's birth sampler cross-stitch- I think it turned out well. One day hen we are rich I will get it framed. But for now it will be in a zip lock bag with all of the other finished cross-stitch!

New Restraunt and Zack's birthday Special

So I went to Georgio's Pizza and Pasta- for Zack's birthday- We had a cheese steak pizza- it was really really yummy and it was a huge pizza. We had a fun time there.

For Zack'e birthday I took pictures of parts of objects around the house and then wrote on the bakc of the pictures reasons why we love zack . It was part of the scavenger hunt-- then we went for pizza and then we went to the SUU vs Oakland University basketball game.

Sew Pillow cases

Here they are 4 pillow cases - done-- I think there are onl 4 left to make but they will have to be done next week.

1 will go to Margo for her birthday

We also had Family Home Evening today our lesson was "I am a Child of GOD" I even made Brownies and we colored a picture and the nwe went bowling for Monsters. So Yea for Us!

Make blanket for a new baby!

I finished the blanket for Aunt Theresa today. I think it turned out very cute. I just need to remmeber that the directions I have that there is extra material at the end of each row. It is a rag quilt!

Read Ensign for January

I did it I read the whole Ensign for January.
For the past couple of weeks Whitney has been singing a song from Barney called
What Should We Do When We Don't Know What To Do! and I just thought it was cute then I read the Ensign and One of the articles is called "What Should We Do When We Don't Know What To Do?" are you kidding me? So I read it and now when she sings this song I tell her to Keep the Commandments.
I also thought that this Ensign had many articles on being Self Reliant .Maybe I need to take a hint and become more self reliant.

I am excited that I actually read the Entire Magazine. Now I am looking forward to February when it comes out again!

Fast every month

ok It has been a long time since I have fasted. So Like the church I decided I need to go back to basics and to fast and make it consistent. It is much tougher when you have ti be a mother and make sure the kids eat. But I did it! I was so excited and I am sure that it will make a difference in my life. But no worries I was still so thirsty and then when it was time to eat I ate so quickly that my belly hurt! I had forgotten about all those little things since I have not fasted in a long time!
